Authentic tipis, (Native American spelling) greet  campers.

Five campsites are strategically located  throughout the property.

At Challenge Mountain, activities change with the season.

During fall and spring we offer hiking opportunities to groups or individuals.

Summer will include hiking, overnight wilderness camping, and nature experiential opportunities.

Day Camps have become an instant success.  Day camps are offered twice weekly and provide countless great opportunities to recreate, enjoy the outdoors, and learn new skills we hope you will enjoy for a lifetime.

Overnight wilderness camps offer countless activities including low ropes, hiking, nature education, water sports, and much more.

Spirit Recreation is an inclusive day camp setting where the participant has the chance to go on adventures all over northern Michigan.  While Challenge Mountain day camps are activity driven, Spirit Day Camp is venue driven.

Summer at Challenge Mountain is exciting and beneficial!
