How Your Gift Helps

Although there are many programs throughout the United States that provide opportunities for the disabled population, Challenge Mountain is unique in many ways. Our programs are offered exclusively to individuals living with disabilities and their families. We have a family first approach, allowing families to recreate together which strengthens family bonds. Families continually tell us how we have changed their lives by working with them and teaching them to recreate together.

With the financial and life challenges associated with living with or caring for someone living with a disability, we believe that money should not be a barrier to experiencing life. Our history is rich with success stories from every family and/or individual who has visited Challenge Mountain. Everyone leaves with the satisfaction of achieving a goal they have set for themselves and our staff works diligently toward helping them achieve that goal.

As we work to break down the barriers to participation in recreation and community activities, Challenge Mountain continues to strive to ensure that cost is not a barrier. Thanks to the generous support of individual donors, the community, grants from private corporations and foundations, and income generated through the Challenge Mountain resale store, our programs are offered at little or no cost to participants and their families.

At Challenge Mountain, great things happen together and your involvement will make a difference in the lives of many. Contact Challenge Mountain today to learn how your contribution will change lives.
