Thanks to an anonymous donor, Crooked Tree Arts Center in Petoskey is an active partner with Challenge Mountain. The donor wanted an arts-focused program available to individuals living with disabilities living with cognitive and physical disabilities. Typically six-week sessions, participants learn art fundamentals and art history while applying skills to create everything from paintings to three-dimensional crafts. 

Participants gain personal fulfillment through a sense of accomplishment and a feeling of acceptance that translates positively into their everyday lives. These experiences create positive individual and group development, while building social and character skills.
