About SPIRIT Day Camp

SPIRIT Day Camp is offered each summer and includes outings that allow individuals age 14 and older living with disabilities the opportunity to stay connected to their community while enjoying outdoor recreational activities with friends new and old. In the past, campers have visited Old Mackinac Point Lighthouse, golfed with The First Tee at The Highlands, bowled at Northern Lights Recreation, enjoyed a Concert in the Park in Petoskey, played adventure golf at Pirate’s Cove, took in the sand at Petoskey State Park…the list goes on. Thank you to our generous donors who make this camp possible year after year!

Registration for SPIRIT Day Camp 2023 is coming soon.

Our three weeks of camp for this summer will occur July 11-14, July 18-21, and July 25-28. Registration for returning participants will open April 18th. Registration for new participants will open April 25th. Contact us for more information.

If your unable to join us at camp this summer, we have several other programs that may interest you. Our new SPIRIT Club continues the tradition of camp on a monthly basis. Past activities have included bowling, skiing/sledding, movie nights, pumpkin picking, concerts and other fun activities in the community. We also offer weekly programs throughout the summer (June-September). This includes adaptive biking, fishing, kayaking, miniature golf nights and art classes. If your interested in participating in one of our programs, please contact us by…
