Exciting News for Challenge Mountain
After thoughtful planning following the sale of the lodge property in late 2024, Challenge Mountain has purchased a facility for indoor adaptive programs. “As everyone can imagine, we are very excited to start offering programs at the new facility,” shares Executive Director Elizabeth Gertz, “and we will be taking the appropriate time to design and build interior modifications before scheduling programs.”
The new facility will provide additional opportunities for students and adult participants to enjoy more indoor programs and of course, fun social events throughout the year!

A True Legacy: Celebrating Bill Aten
Challenge Mountain recently celebrated a milestone for longtime leader and volunteer Bill Aten, who retired from the Board of Directors in January 2026 after most recently serving as Board Secretary.
